DMTDA Equivalent To Ethacure 300
1. Product Overview:
Dimethylthiotoulenediamine (DMTDA) is equivalent to Ethacure 300 (Albemarle). It is a liquid aromatic diamine with low chronic toxicity, is an effective curative for polyurethane cast elastomers.It is used in both hot and room-temperature casting. It can also be used as a slower chain extender for polyurethane urea and polyurea elastomers in reaction injection molding, structural reaction injection molding and hand-applied and spray coating applications, alone or in blends with DETDA curative.

Ethacure 300 is a low viscosity liquid that is ready for immediate use. Loading can be accomplised with simple hand pumps or gravity feed. Dry nitrogen should be used to blanket curative tanks.
8. % Theory
Selection of 95% theory is generally recommended. Lowering it to 85% theory will improve compression set and raise 300% modulus (tensile). Increasing to 105% theory will enhance tear strength and elongation.
