1. Introduction

AW-010 spray polyurea waterproof coating is composed of isocyanate prepolymer, polyether amine, amine chain extender and other additives, etc. It is the third generation polyurea elastomer which performance fully conforms to the technical requirements of the national standard GB/T 23446-2009 Spray Polyurea Waterproof Coating. The coating is applied by special high-pressure airless spraying equipment. The coating has the characteristics of fast cure high strength, high elongation and seamless, etc. It is a revolutionary leap of traditional coating technology and one of the most advanced waterproof construction technologies in the world.

2. Application

AW-010 spray polyurea waterproof coating can be widely used in large building structures, chemical infrastructure, underground tunnels, water conservancy facilities and other waterproof projects. The typical application fields include dams, embankments, reservoirs, canals, and other water conservancy facilities; sewage treatment tank, storage tank, swimming pool, water park; roof, basement, tunnel waterproof; wearproof and waterproof stadium stands.

6. Coating method

1. Substrate treatment
The surface shall not have water, dust, floating rust, oil, and other pollutants. Generally, it is recommended that sandblasting or manual (mechanical) grinding be used for fully clean up to make the surface cleanliness meet the requirements of the corresponding cleaning standards. For concrete substrate, surface defects such as cracking and bulge should be repaired first.
2. The construction of spray polyurea waterproof coating
In order to ensure the material performance, the material should be stirred evenly before construction, so that the whole material system state is even up and down, must use special high-pressure two-component 1:1 polyurethane/polyurea spraying equipment (the heating capacity >75℃, the maximum pressure up to 3500psi), such as GRACO E-XP2, H-XP3, H-20/35 equipment, and the corresponding collision spray guns.
 

7. Construction attention

1. During construction, the temperature of the substrate should be higher than the dew point temperature by more than 3℃. Avoid construction in bad weather such as wind, rain, and snow.
2. Before construction, Component B must be fully stirred evenly.
3. If the coating is used for multiple times, the packaging drum should be sealed tightly at any time after the material is taken, so as to avoid the moisture absorption and deterioration of the material affecting the use and performance.
4. During construction in a closed space, good ventilation should be ensured, and specific cleaning agent should be used to clean the spray gun after spraying every time.
5. Coating interval: the shortest time is not limited; the longest time is not more than 3 hours.
 

8. Labor protection

In the process of using AW-010, workers must wear work clothes, wear goggles, gloves, gas masks and other labor protection supplies; the construction space must ensure good ventilation, at the same time, isolate fire source and keep away from heat source.
 

9. Storage and transportation

1. This product should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry warehouse. It is strictly prohibited to be exposed to rain and sun. Isolate fire source and keep away from heat source. The storage temperature should be 15~40℃. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture without opening the original packaging.
2. This product is organic solvent free and can be transported as non-dangerous goods. During transportation, it shall be strictly prohibited to be exposed to rain and sun and shall comply with the relevant regulations of the transportation department.
 

10. Clean up and maintenance

1. It is recommended to use special cleaning agent to clean tools and spray gun accessories.
2. The equipment should be regularly and timely maintained in strict accordance with the instructions and suggestions of the equipment manufacturer.
