AW-081 Hand Brush Polyurea Coating Polyurethane Waterproof Coating

1. Introduction

AW-081 hand brush polyurea coating is composed of isocyanate prepolymer, polyether amines, amine extenders and other additives. AW-081 is a two-component, solvent-free, hand-applied polyurea coating system. AW-081 is used in large-scale protection projects without mechanical construction conditions, it is also used in local repair of conventional sprayed polyurea coating. AW-081 has strong adhesion, good elasticity, bright and full paint film, excellent wear resistance and moisture insensitive. It can be applied by hand scaping.

3. Application

AW-081 is used in large-scale protection projects without mechanical construction conditions, it can be used as a substitute for sprayed polyurea elastomer and can also be used as a local repair material after sprayed polyurea elastomer system is damaged.

5. Mixing and packing

According to the weight ratio A:B=5:2 for ingredients.

Packing specifications:

A: 5 kg/drum; B: 2 kg/drum.

Packing specification can be changed as per customer request.

6. Coating method

1. Component B should be fully stirred evenly before use (no bottoming, consistent color).
2. Accurately weigh and mix components A and B according to the proportion, stir them well manually or mechanically before construction.
3. Hand-applied scraping, the coating interval should not exceed 24h.
4. It should be prepared and used according to the needs of the site when using, so as to avoid the paint gelling and scrapping.
5. Suggested single-pass construction thickness: 0.2-0.3mm for elevation, 0.5-1mm for plane.

7. Construction attention

1. During construction, the temperature of the substrate should be higher than the dew point temperature by more than 3°C. Avoid construction in bad weather such as wind, rain and snow.
2. Before construction, Component B must be fully stirred evenly.
3. It should be prepared in strict accordance with the proportion, and the construction loss caused by the wrong proportion shall be at your own risk.
4. If the coating is used for multiple times, the packaging drum should be sealed tightly at any time after the material is taken, so as to avoid the moisture absorption and deterioration of the material affecting the use and performance.
5. During constructing in a closed space, good ventilation should be ensured.

8. Labor protection

In the process of using AW-081, workers must wear work clothes, wear goggles, gloves, gas masks and other labor protection supplies; the construction space must ensure good ventilation, at the same time, isolate fire source and keep away from the heat source.

9. Storage and transportation

1. This product should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry warehouse. It is strictly prohibited to be exposed to rain and sun. Isolate fire source and keep away from heat source. The storage temperature should be 15~40℃. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture without opening the original packaging.
2. This product is organic solvent free and can be transported as non-dangerous goods. During transportation, it shall be strictly prohibited to be exposed to rain and sun and shall comply with the relevant regulations of the transportation department.
