It also serves as an excellent solvent and is extensively used in coatings, inks, pesticides, adhesives, and photosensitive materials. Additionally, cyclohexanone is used to produce various fine chemicals, such as peroxycyclohexanone, ortho-methylbenzophenone, aging inhibitors 4010, and cyclohexanone-toluene resins, which are intermediates in pharmaceuticals and pesticides, showing broad application prospects.
