HDO is widely used in the following fields:

(1) Polyurethane field: Applied in the production of polyester resin, used for polyurethane elastomer modified. Polyurethane elastomer is widely used in synthetic rubber, elastic fiber, synthetic leather and other fields. The modified resin has excellent mechanical strength, water resistance and oxidation resistance. HDO can also be used in the production of polycarbonatediol.

(2) Polyester field: Compared with other unsaturated polyester with short chain alcohol, 1,6-glycol unsaturated polyester chain is harder to hydrolysis, and more softer. It can improve alkali resistance of resin,improve the adhesive force with glass fiber. Polyester with high tensile strength, high elasticity, excellent solvent resistance and moisture resistance, especially suitable for photographic plate based products. The product is also suitable for polyester fiber processing.

(3) Coating field: The main reaction with acrylic acid production bifunctional reactive diluent HDDA, the active monomer has a strong ability to dilute and excellent adhesion, good dissolving ability, speed and wide application of light curing coatings, printing ink and adhesive production areas.
