Wannate 8122 Modified MDI In Furniture Toy Automotive Industries

WANNATE 8122 is a brown liquid at room temperature, consisting of a blend of polyol-modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate and polyphenylmethane polyisocyanate. It's particularly well-suited for producing viscoelastic foam in the furniture, toy, and automotive industries.

Since WANNATE 8122 is a reactive chemical, it readily reacts with atmospheric moisture. This reaction forms insoluble ureas and carbon dioxide gas, which can lead to pressure buildup in closed containers and an increase in product viscosity. Therefore:

• Containers must be completely dry and carefully sealed after being filled with nitrogen
• Store containers indoors in a well-ventilated area at ambient temperatures (15-25°C)
• Keep containers properly closed
• Avoid storage below 10°C to prevent crystallization
• Protect material from frost
• If crystallization occurs, heat to 70-80°C to melt, avoiding localized overheating
• Thoroughly agitate product after melting before use

WANNATE 8122 has a nine-month shelf life when stored under recommended conditions. Should the product's shelf life be exceeded, its functional properties may nonetheless remain unaffected, provided its primary physical and chemical characteristics conform to specifications.
