DESCRIPTION

L-75 is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. The form supplied is approximately 75% in ethyl acetate.

PROPERTIES / APPLICATIONS

1. Systems crosslinked with Unate L-75 can be used as coatings for furniture, parquet flooring, metal, paper, plastics, and mineral substrates.
2. They can be used to bond various materials, such as wood, metal, and plastic.
3. The use of this polyisocyanate enhances the resistance of bonds to heat, oil, plasticizers, and many solvents.
4. It ensures good adhesion to numerous materials, especially plastics.
5. The pale inherent color of Unate L-75 allows its use in bonding transparent plastic films for packaging.

SOLUBILITY / REACTIVITY

• Aromatic Hydrocarbons (Toluene, Xylene, MEK): Complete solubility.
• Esters (Ethyl acetate, Butyl acetate, 1-methoxypropylacetate-2): Complete solubility.
• Aliphatics (n-Hexane): Not compatible.
• Alcohols (methanol): React.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

STORAGE

1. The product is sensitive to moisture and should be stored in its sealed original containers.
2. The recommended storage temperature is between 10℃ to 30℃.
3. Storage at higher temperatures will cause an increase in viscosity.
4. When stored under proper conditions, the product remains stable for at least 10 months from the date of customer receipt.
