Rubber-to-Metal Bonding Agent 823GB Heavy Metal Free Cover Coat Adhesive

A multifunctional cover coat adhesive designed for bonding various elastomer compounds to metal substrates during the vulcanization process. Formulated without heavy metals, this solvent-based adhesive serves as an effective equivalent to Chemlok 220LF/6125/6220, Chemosil 225/222/222NL, and Thixon 520/526.

Application Guidelines

Thoroughly stir before use to ensure uniform dispersion of settled solids. Apply by brush, dip, roller coating, or spray methods for a uniform coating. When used as a cover coat, recommended dry film thickness is 10-20 μm. Drying at room temperature takes approximately 45-60 minutes; forced drying can shorten this time. Clean excess adhesive with xylene solvent before vulcanization. Once cured, solvent removal is not possible.

Packaging & Storage

Available in 3.5 kg/drum and 20 kg/drum packaging options. Store at temperatures below 37°C in original, unopened containers. Shelf life is 12 months from date of shipment. Do not store or use near heat, sparks, or open flame. Keep container tightly closed after use. For detailed safety information, refer to the product SDS.
